Boss Teez Promise to Donate, every T-shirt sale

Yes we are a small t-shirt business and we will experience all the woes of a small business just like the rest. That will not deter us from paying the cause forward. What does that mean? It means that we are willing to net less in this tee shirt business to support the foundation of our name and why we are here.

The name of our company was the name of our best dog ever! Boss. A rescue Doberman found on Craigs list back in 2015. We made the trip from Orlando and drove down south where we were greeted by a family who said they could not train the dog. He was kept outside, not allowed inside ever and slept on a concrete pad in the backyard. We could tell he was excited to see us..he knew we were there to save him, and we did.

On the way home (for 3 hours) Boss kept his nuzzle on my shoulder the entire way, instantly stealing my heart. The bond we formed that day could never be replaced. Boss was eager to please and would protect us at all costs. Boss was taken to obedience training where he learned everything about being a good boy. He was then later tested for protection training where he turned up the heat! He was amazing.

The sad part of this story is that Boss only lived to 8 years old, almost nine, yes we counted every day. Stricken likely by DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy) a condition where the heart cannot pump blood effectively because the left ventricle, the main pumping chamber, is enlarged and weakened. According to VetsNow.com they report that over 50% over Dobermans show signs of DCM. This is not exclusively a Doberman condition however it is common amongst large barrel-chested dogs. The only imperfection in the breed. Boss died in 2022.

Now it would be totally unfair to not tell you about Chief. Chief is also a rescue Doberman but his name before Chief was Henry. We were not keeping that name....

Henery/Chief was a dog for my son. His first real dog. The one he will remember furever. Actually, I really wanted him to be for me too but Chief and I never had that bond, however the bond he has with my son was and still is perfect. Plus Chief came first, then Boss. Chief is a special dog, the pics say it all. Both amazing dogs. Chief is now (2023) 9 years old.

I hope you enjoy the pics and the little story as to how our name came about & here is what we promise.

We promise that $1.00 from every purchase made from our Dog Shirt Collection sale will be donated to a "dog cause". In addition to that, 25 cents from every shirt sale will be added to that.

Furever Loved!
